Brunette – a woman with dark or dark brown hair. Brunet – a man with dark or dark brown hair, rarely used. Also, according to J.K. Rowling Harry Potter has black hair, not brown.
Lie – to tell an untruth. Past tense, lied. You lie, you are lying, you lied, you are a fibbing bastard. Lie – to lie down. Past tense, lay. Present perfect, lain. So, basically you lie down now, you are lying down, you have lain down, you did lay down yesterday. Lay – to place something down. Past tense, laid. You lay an egg, you are laying an egg, you laid an egg yesterday. How to remember? Hens lay, Men lie!
